Continuous Mixing
To produce a consistent dough and finished product, consider our Continuous Mixing technology. Exact Mixing offers several mixer models that are appropriate for different types of products.
Our most versatile mixer is the Exact Mixing MX Continuous Mixer. It is well suited for a wide range of products including pizza, cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes. It is also an ideal first stage mixer for processes that require creme up and pre-blend stages. This mixer offers dough production rates from 500 to 6,000 kg/hour.
Dough Handling
RBS is proud to offer customers an extensive range of equipment for dough handling and forming in between the mixer and the oven.
For extruded and co-extruded products, the Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder enables consistent and accurate production of a variety of structural, flat and filled extruded shapes and sticks.
The Thomas L. Green Rotary Moulder efficiently produces high definition, three dimensional rotary molded biscuits, cookies and pet treats.
For sheeted snacks, the Thomas L. Green Sheeter creates a consistent dough sheet, and Gauging Stations ensure accurate thickness prior to forming. Form scrapless geometric shapes and distinct shapes with the Rotary Cutting Station.
High Quality Ovens
The Thomas L. Green PRISM OVEN has been trusted in the biscuit, cookie and cracker industry for more than a century. A flexible single-pass baking platform, it is designed to enhance product consistency.
The Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN® offers the same flexibility as the PRISM OVEN for baking pretzels, bread snacks, baked crisps and potato snacks.
Complete Turnkey Production Systems
RBS manufactures and installs complete turnkey production systems that feature the latest technology and can help customers efficiently and profitably produce baked snacks. These systems have the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing.
The Thomas L. Green Hard & Soft Biscuit System creates sheeted and rotary moulded biscuits. For hard biscuits, this system offers a 3-Roll Sheeter, Gauge Rolls and flexible Rotary Cutting Station. Soft biscuits are made on a Rotary Moulder designed to efficiently produce high definition, three dimensional biscuits, cookies and pet treats.
With the Multi-Crisp Baked Snack System, you can produce a variety of wheat, potato, multi-grain and corn masa flour crisps on one flexible system. The system can produce between 250-1,000 kg/hr of finished product, depending on the number of oven sections after the dough sheeting equipment.
The modular Stackable Chip System is designed to reliably and efficiently produce fabricated stackable fried chips. The system includes a specialized FX Continuous Mixing System, 2-Roll Sheeter and Rotary Cutting Station and can produce between 500-1,000 kg/hr depending on the fryer capacity (not supplied by RBS).
