Mixer Technology

Continuous mixing eliminates the undesirable dough variations that are caused by batch mixing.

The Exact FX Continuous Mixer evenly distributes small amounts of moisture into large amounts of powder using a specialized liquid injection system and a revolutionary mixer shaft design. It is ideal for hydroscopic powders such as potato flakes used to make fabricated potato chips or any other low moisture mixtures.

The FX Continuous Mixer eliminates the chance of contamination because the dough is never exposed to the environment, and features dough production rates from 100 to 1,250 kg/hour.

Sheeting & Cutting Technology

After continuous mixing, the single-reduction 2-Roll Sheeter will produce a continuous and consistent dough sheet and discharge it directly on to the Rotary Cutting Station infeed conveyor.

The Rotary Cutting Station accurately and continuously cuts discrete product shapes by moving product through a rotating die assembly. Operators can adjust the pressure on the dough sheet during operation to ensure a thorough cut and consistent piece production.

A scrap removal system may be mounted on the discharge end of the machine. Edge and web scrap dough are removed and discharged from the machine and can be re-routed to the dough handling system for reuse. Dough sheet thickness is typically between .89mm (.035?) and 1.65mm (.065?) prior to cutting, but thicker sheets may be accommodated.
