Our extrusion-based Fried Potato Ring System is ideal for the flexible, efficient, high-volume production of extruded fried snacks, such as fried potato rings. The System includes:
Exact FX Continuous Mixer – This mixer is designed to evenly distribute small amounts of moisture into large quantities of powder. A high-speed mixing shaft lifts powdered ingredients into and through atomized liquids that are sprayed into the mixing chamber. The efficient process is well suited for hydroscopic powders such as potato flakes used to make fabricated potato chips and other low moisture mixtures.
Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder – Use this LP Extruder to create a wide range of structural and flat extruded shapes, including fried potato rings. Its newly designed augers deliver more product flow with less work; new lightweight, seamless hoppers eliminate harborage areas; pre-feed rolls made of food-safe plastics; an improved cutting mechanism with a longer service life; and improved guarding for better safety.
Reading Pretzel Fried Snack Extruder – This extruder helps you create fried snacks such as potato rings, potato sticks, and ethnic noodles. The product is delivered to the fryer* by a belted conveyor or by incorporating an optional oil “free float” conveying section. (*Fryer not supplied by RBS)
