Continuous Mixing Technology
Batch mixing can negatively affect the consistency of your finished products by causing undesirable dough variations.Continuous mixing has grown in popularity around the globe thanks to its ability to continuously produce more consistent dough.
Our Exact Continuous Mixers come in a variety of sizes that range from 50 to 10,000 kg/hour. Different models are available based primarily on dough moisture levels and number of mixing stages.
The Exact MX Continuous Mixer, for example, is our most versatile mixer and is well suited for a wide range of products including pizza, cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes. The Exact EX Continuous Mixer is ideal for crackers, pretzels, sweet goods, pet treats, and other wheat-based products, and the Exact HDX or High Development Continuous Mixer is designed for ultra-high absorption doughs, such as buns, bread, rolls and English muffins.
Baking & Drying Solutions
With the Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN®, customers who produce pretzels, bread snacks, crisps, and potato snacks will benefit from a variety of heat transfer combinations in one modular design.
The convection baking platform features operator-controlled air temperature, circulation speed, exhaust, and moisture removal for reliable, consistent baking of snacks. Add an optional Multi-Pass Dryer to increase oven speed, production throughput and process control.
If you manufacture biscuits, cookies or crackers, the Thomas L. Green PRISM OVEN is an excellent choice. The single-pass baking platform is designed to improve product quality and consistency.
Turnkey Production Systems
RBS’ turnkey production systems create sheeted and rotary moulded products and have the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing.
Our modern, high volume Cracker System enables you to create straight sheeted, dual sheeted, and laminated crackers. Sheeting systems can range from 600mm to 1.5m in width, and production volumes range from 200-5500 kg/hr depending on oven length, width and product type.
The Multi-Crisp Baked Snack System enables you to produce a variety of wheat, potato, multi-grain and corn masa flour crisps on one flexible system. The system can produce 250-1000 kg/hr of finished product, depending on the number of oven sections after the dough sheeting equipment.
