Mixing Technology

Batch mixing is often imprecise and can lead to dough variations that affect the consistency of your finished products. Continuous mixing has grown in popularity, both in the U.S. and abroad, for its ability to produce large quantities of uniform dough.

Based primarily on dough moisture levels and number of mixing stages, our Exact Continuous Mixers are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from 100 to 10,000 kg/hour.

Cookies– For cookies and other products that require the blending of ingredients before adding flour, the Exact LDX Continuous Mixer is an excellent choice. This mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 7,500 kg/hour.

Crackers, pretzels, pizza, bagels, pet treats & other wheat-based products– The Exact EX Continuous Mixer is ideal for everything but the lowest viscosity powder/liquid mixtures. This mixer offers dough production rates from 100 to 10,000 kg/hour.

Buns, breads, rolls, English muffins– The Exact HDX or High Development Continuous Mixer is designed for ultra-high absorption doughs. It offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 10,000 kg/hour.

Oven Technology

Turnkey Production Systems

RBS also manufactures and installs turnkey production systems featuring the latest technology that help customers efficiently and profitably produce baked snacks.

The modern, high volume Cracker System enables you to create straight sheeted, dual sheeted and laminated crackers. Sheeting systems can range from 600mm to 1.5m in width, and production volumes range from 200-5500 kg/hr depending on oven length, width and product type.

The innovative Hard & Soft Biscuit System creates a variety of sheeted and rotary moulded biscuits and has the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing. Production volumes range from 500 – 2500 kg/hr.

The Multi-Crisp Baked Snack System enables you to produce a variety of wheat, potato, multi-grain and corn masa flour crisps on one flexible system. The system can produce between 250-1000 kg/hr of finished product, depending on the number of oven sections after the dough sheeting equipment.
