Continuous Mixing Equipment
Consider our continuous mixing technology when you want to produce a more consistent dough than is possible to achieve with batch mixing.
The Exact Mixing MX Continuous Mixer is our most versatile mixer. It is ideal for a wide range of products including pizza, cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes and is an exceptional first stage mixer for processes that require creme up and pre-blend stages. This mixer offers dough production rates from 500-6,000 kg/hour.
Another excellent option is the Exact Mixing EX Continuous Mixer, which is ideal for crackers, pretzels, pie crusts, sweet goods, pet treats and a variety of other wheat-based snacks. It uniformly mixes products with a variety of dough moisture levels. This mixer offers dough production rates from 50 to 10,000 kg/hour.
High-Quality Ovens
The Thomas L. Green PRISM OVEN has been trusted in the biscuit, cookie and cracker industry for more than a century. A flexible single-pass baking platform, it is designed to enhance product consistency. The Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN® offers the same flexibility for baking pretzels, bread snacks, baked crisps and potato snacks.
Complete Production Systems
RBS manufactures and installs many different turnkey production systems that incorporate our latest technologies. These systems have the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing.
The Pretzel & Snack System, for example, incorporates the Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder and enables you to create a variety of pretzel shapes, sticks, braids, filled sticks and bread snacks on one production line.
The extrusion-based Fried Potato Ring System is ideal for the flexible, efficient, high volume production of extruded fried snacks, such as the popular fried potato ring product, and is capable of producing from 200-1000 kg/hr of finished product.
RBS and Incomec, a Belgium-based manufacturer of popping/puffing equipment, have partnered to supply customers in the U.S. and Canada with specialized popped snack equipment. Our Popped Snack System will include supply a Pellex C+ or Cerex Processor depending on the final product you wish to produce.

At the heart of RBS is our 30,000 square foot Science & Innovation Center in Sinking Spring, PA.
