Continuous Mixing Solutions

Batch mixing often leads to dough variations that impact the consistency of finished products. Exact Mixing offers several models of Continuous Mixers that solve this problem by providing a consistent, uniform dough stream to your production line at the same rate that it is being used.

The advantages of continuous mixing include:

Exact Continuous Mixers come in a variety of sizes, ranging from 50 to 10,000 kg/hour. Different models are available based primarily on dough moisture levels and number of mixing stages.

They include the Exact MX Continuous Mixer, our most versatile mixer, which is well suited for a wide range of products including pizza, cookies, snacks, batters, icings, and pastes, the Exact EX Continuous Mixer, which is ideal for crackers, pretzels, sweet goods, pet treats and other wheat-based products, and the Exact HDX or High Development Continuous Mixer, which is designed for ultra-high absorption doughs, such as buns, breads, rolls and English muffins.

Turnkey Systems

RBS manufactures and installs turnkey production systems with the latest technology to efficiently and profitably produce baked snacks. Our systems create sheeted and rotary moulded products and have the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing.

Our modern, high volume Cracker System enables you to create straight sheeted, dual sheeted and laminated crackers. Sheeting systems can range from 600mm to 1.5m in width, and production volumes range from 200-5500 kg/hr depending on oven length, width and product type.

The Thomas L. Green Hard & Soft Biscuit System creates sheeted and rotary moulded biscuits. For hard biscuits, the system offers a 3-Roll Sheeter, Gauge Rolls and a flexible Rotary Cutting Station. Soft biscuits are made on a Rotary Moulder designed to efficiently produce high definition, three dimensional biscuits, cookies and pet treats.

Our Pretzel & Snack System incorporates the Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder, enabling you to create a variety of pretzel shapes, sticks, braids, filled sticks and bread snacks on one production line.  Product changeover is as simple as exchanging one compression head and die for another one with a different shape.
