Reading Bakery Systems manufactures industrial continuous mixers that will meet the demands of your unique process and help you produce a better quality finished product.
In commercial applications, producing large quantities of consistent, uniform dough can present a number of challenges. The quality and consistency of your final products are largely dependent on the mixing phase. If not done properly, it is difficult to correct later.
Continuous Mixing Solutions
Reading Bakery Systems manufactures different types of Exact continuous mixers that are based primarily on dough moisture levels and the number of required mixing stages.
In comparison to batch mixing, which often lacks precision and leads to dough variations from batch to batch, continuous mixing enables you to produce large quantities of uniform dough. To achieve perfect products every time, consider these options:
The EX Continuous Mixer is an excellent choice for low-absorption, stiff, wheat-based doughs, such as for crackers, bagels, pretzels, pizza and pet treats. This mixer uniformly mixes products with different dough moisture levels and offers dough production rates from 100 to 10,000 kg/hour.
If you produce buns, breads, rolls, English muffins or tortillas, the HDX Continuous Mixer is ideal for ultra-high absorption doughs. All ingredients are first mixed into a uniform mass with a twin screw mixer. The dough is then kneaded in a separate section to the proper development level with a single screw mixer. This mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 10,000 kg/hour.
The FX Continuous Mixer is well-suited for corn chips, baked potato chips, veggie chips, potato snacks, rice crisps, stackable potato chips, and other low moisture mixtures. It evenly distributes small amounts of moisture into large amounts of dry powder with a revolutionary design that lifts the powder into atomized liquids.
For cookies and other products that require ingredients to be blended before adding most of the flour, consider the LDX Continuous Mixer. In the first mixing stage, all minor ingredients can be combined with some of the flour and the fat can be cut in. In the final stage, the remaining flour is added to create the final dough. This mixer offers dough production rates from 1,500 to 7,500 kg/hour.
Consider the Exact MX Continuous Mixer when you need high energy mixing for high moisture / high fat content doughs, such as icings, fillings, cremes, batters, and low viscosity mixtures. It can also be used as the first stage mixer in multi-stage operations.
