Dough Handling Equipment
Dough Feeder: The Thomas L. Green Dough Feeder is an efficient solution for raw dough batch processing. Dough is dumped into the Conveyor which moves the dough evenly through the processing attachment, creating consistent dough for downstream equipment. The Dough Feeder is designed to accept dough directly from a batch mixer, continuous mixer or a Dough Dump Station and features multiple dough processing options.
Dough Dump Station: The Thomas L. Green Dough Dump Station can be installed over plant floor openings or adjacent to existing dough handling systems such as Dough Feeders or Laytime Conveyors. It offers a safe and efficient way to transfer large batches of dough from portable dough troughs into a continuous dough sheeting or processing system. A single operator can safely maneuver and dump the dough trough.
Laytime Conveyor: The Thomas L. Green Laytime Conveyor provides consistent control over dough moisture, laytime and density. The continuous proofing conveyor is designed to receive multiple batches of dough and has a first in, first out design. It can be installed directly under a continuous or batch mixer for efficient dough handling.
DoughBot System: The Reading Pretzel DoughBot provides an automated link between mixing and dough forming. The completely automated dough handling system precisely portions, conditions, and transports dough to downstream forming equipment. Components include a Mixer Discharge Conveyor, Loafmaker, Lift Conveyor and Shuttle. The DoughBot system is capable of processing up to 4,000 pounds of dough per hour.
Portable Trough with Kibbler: The Thomas L. Green Portable Trough with Kibbler processes an entire batch of raw dough by slowly conveying it through rotating kibbler knives and discharging small, useable-sized dough chunks. Dough can be dumped into the Trough directly from a batch mixer, continuous mixer, or from a Dough Dump Station.
