Our Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN® offers the same flexibility as the PRISM OVEN for baking bread snacks, crisps, pretzels, and potato snacks, with a number of different combinations of heat transfer zones.

SPECTRUM OVEN® features include:

  • Radiation, convection, and conduction heat transfer options
  • Built and controlled as separate heating zones for more precise control
  • Manufactures  a wide range of products by adjusting the heat transfer profile
  • Repeatable control of time, temperature, humidity and type of heat transfer
  • Available with full non-corrosive stainless steel interior
  • Can be combined with a Kiln, or Dryer, zone to create a space efficient two-pass baking chamber*
  • Excellent access for cleaning

When combined with a Dryer zone, the SPECTRUM OVEN® provides two heat transfer zones that are independently controlled and monitored. The zones allow the final moisture of the product to be removed in a manner best suited to the characteristics of the product and not the limitations of the available plant space.

Electric Ovens

If you are interested in full electric baking, we offer an electric version penthouse for our convection style and Emithermic ovens.  The gas penthouse can be exchanged with an electric penthouse on our existing ovens. We also manufacture an electric cracker oven to replace DGF ovens by modifying our Emithermic Oven Zone, enabling it to impart the higher heat crackers require without a lot of air currents that can dry the product before allowing flavor and texture to develop.
