Mixing Equipment
Continuous Mixing eliminates problems associated with batch mixing and provides you with automated control over your mixing process to help you produce a continuous stream of high-quality dough.
Exact Mixing offers the most advanced continuous mixing technologies available today. The FX Continuous Mixer, for example, evenly distributes small amounts of moisture into large amounts of dry powder with a revolutionary design that lifts the powder into atomized liquids.
The FX Continuous Mixer is ideal for hydroscopic powders such as potato flakes used to make fabricated potato chips and other low moisture mixtures, and is designed to prevent creating wet and dry areas in the final dough.
Dough Forming Equipment
Once uniform moisture distribution has been accomplished with Continuous Mixing, the Thomas L. Green 2-Roll Sheeter will create a consistent dough sheet ready for dough forming.
The single-reduction, 2-Roll Sheeter produces a continuous dough sheet with consistent characteristics and thickness that is discharged directly onto the Rotary Cutter infeed conveyor.
The Thomas L. Green Rotary Cutting Station accurately and continuously cuts product shapes out of a single dough sheet. Scrap dough is removed and can be re-routed to the mixer for reuse. This system can be designed with one, two or three die rolls to accommodate complex shape adjustment and can be quickly changed to increase product flexibility.

The SPECTRUM OVEN® offers radiation, convection and conduction heat transfer options in a single modular design, making it ideally suited for baked potato chips and crisps. The extremely flexible platform is available in a number of configurations with different heat transfer modules that allow for greater product variation with a simple profile adjustment.
A kiln or dryer module may be combined with an oven module to create a two-pass baking chamber that maximizes your available space. An optional Reading Pretzel Multi-Pass Dryer efficiently reduces product core moistures and improves overall quality and storage characteristics.
