Mixer Technology

Batch mixing lacks precision and can lead to dough variations that impact the consistency of finished products. Exact Mixing offers several models of Continuous Mixers that solve the problem by providing a consistent, uniform dough stream to your production line at the same rate that it is being used.

For crackers, pretzels, pizza, pie crusts, sweet goods, pet treats and other wheat-based snack applications, consider the Exact Mixing EX Continuous Mixer which is designed specifically for products where dough moisture levels range from very low to very high. Dough is gently mixed and developed without generating excessive heat. Low moisture, stiff products are easily mixed.

Oven Technology

The Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN® offers radiation, convection and conduction heat transfer options in a single modular design, making it ideally suited for balanced and consistent baking of extruded pretzels and snacks, baked snack crisps from potato, wheat, multi-grain or corn masa flour doughs, and pet treats.

Control of the exhaust, air temperature and circulation velocity allow the operator to regulate the product moisture removal rate for maximum quality assurance. An optional SPECTRUM Multi-Pass Dryer may be combined with the oven zone to create a space-efficient two-pass baking chamber, offering faster oven speeds, greater production throughput, and more process control.

Turnkey Production Systems

The Multi-Crisp Baked Snack System enables you to produce a variety of wheat, potato and corn masa flour crisps on one flexible system. The system can produce between 250-1000 kg/hr of finished product, depending on the number of oven sections after the dough sheeting equipment.

Our Pretzel & Snack Systems incorporate the Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder which provides the flexibility to create a variety of pretzel shapes, sticks, braids, filled sticks and bread snacks on one production line. Product changeover is as simple as exchanging one compression head and die for another one with a different shape.

Additional Technology

If your product line includes rotary moulded cookies, the Thomas L. Green Rotary Moulder efficiently produces high definition, three dimensional shapes by pressing dough into a die roll. The interchangeable die roll can be supplied with segmented rings for simultaneous, multiple shape production.

For wirecut cookies, the Thomas L. Green Wirecut Machine creates a variety of cookies, biscuits and bar products. It is designed to provide piece-weight accuracy and reliability, and is best for nondescript shapes, with or without inclusions.
