Snack Production Equipment

Continuous Mixers: Exact Mixing Continuous Mixers come in all sizes, from 50 to 10,000 kg/hour, and are available based primarily on dough moisture levels or dough mixing stages. Consider Continuous Mixing technology when you want to produce more consistent dough than can typically be done with batch mixing.

High-Quality Ovens: The Thomas L. Green PRISM OVEN has been trusted in the biscuit, cookie, and cracker industry for over a century. The Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN® offers the same flexibility as the PRISM OVEN for baking pretzels, bread snacks, baked crisps, and potato snacks. A flexible single-pass baking platform, it is designed to enhance product consistency.

Complete Snack Food Production Systems

RBS manufactures and installs turnkey production systems with the latest technology to efficiently and profitably produce baked snacks. Our systems have the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing.

The Pretzel & Snack System integrates the Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder and enables you to create various pretzel shapes, sticks, braids, filled sticks, and bread snacks on one production line. Product changeover is as simple as exchanging different shapes of compression heads and dies.

Our Wirecut Cookie System offers efficient, reliable production of a wide range of cookies, biscuits, and bars. Its main component, the Thomas L. Green Independence Wirecut Machine, provides piece-weight accuracy and reliability and can uniformly cut individual shapes at up to 300 cuts per minute.

The Fried Potato Ring System is ideal for the flexible, efficient, high-volume production of extrusion-based fried snacks, including the popular fried potato ring product. It can produce from 200-1000 kg/hr of finished product.

RBS and Incomec, a Belgian popping/puffing equipment manufacturer, partner to supply specialized popped snack equipment to customers in the US and Canada. Our Popped Snack System will include a Pellex C+ or Cerex Processor, depending on the product you plan to produce.

With the Multi-Crisp Baked Snack System, you can produce a variety of wheat, potato, multi-grain, and corn masa flour crisps on one flexible system. The system can produce between 250-1000 kg/hr of finished product, depending on the number of oven sections after the dough sheeting equipment.
