Turnkey Snack Production Systems

RBS manufactures and installs turnkey production systems with the latest technology to help customers efficiently and profitably produce a wide range of baked snacks. These systems have the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing, depending on your level of automation.

The innovative Hard & Soft Biscuit System creates a variety of sheeted and rotary moulded biscuits and has the flexibility to integrate batch or continuous mixing. Production volumes range from 500 – 2500 kg/hr.

The modern, high volume Cracker System enables you to create straight sheeted, dual sheeted and laminated crackers. Sheeting systems can range from 600mm to 1.5m in width, and production volumes range from 200-5500 kg/hr depending on oven length, width and product type.

Our extrusion-based Fried Potato Ring System is ideal for the flexible, efficient, high volume production of extruded fried snacks, such as the popular fried potato ring product. It is capable of producing finished product at 200-1000 kg/hour.

RBS also offers a modular Stackable Chip System to reliably and efficiently produce fabricated stackable fried chips. The system includes a specialized FX Continuous Mixing System, 2-Roll Sheeter and Rotary Cutting Station and can produce between 500-1,000 kg/hr depending on the fryer capacity (not supplied by RBS).

Customers looking for expanded snack manufacturing opportunities using corn, rice, or other cereal ingredients, should consider the cutting-edge RBS Expanded Snack System. It optimizes output and efficiency to improve your products and your process, enabling you to produce corn curls and corn ball shapes, popcorn, onion rings, and more. Production volumes range from 150-400 kh/hr of pre-seasoned product.

The Pretzel & Snack System enables you to create a variety of pretzel shapes, sticks, braids, filled sticks, sushki, and bread snacks on one production line.  Product changeover is as simple as exchanging one compression head and die for another one with a different shape. It is capable of producing from 400-1000 kg/hr of finished product.

American and Canadian customers may also be interested in the Popped Snack System designed by RBS and Incomec, a Belgium-based manufacturer of popping/puffing equipment, to create healthy, tasty snacks that are popped, not fried.
