Continuous Mixing

The Exact EX Continuous Mixer ensures even moisture distribution throughout your dough, as well as consistent and appealing product textures. The mixer uniformly mixes products with a variety of dough moisture levels and is ideal for gentle kneading of wheat-based products, such as pretzels, pizza, crackers, sweet goods, and pet treats.
The FX Continuous Mixer is ideal for corn chips, baked potato chips, veggie chips, potato snacks, rice crisps, stackable potato chips, and other low moisture mixtures. It evenly distributes small amounts of moisture into large amounts of dry powder with a revolutionary design that lifts the powder into atomized liquids.
Multi-Crisp Baked Snack Systems
With the Multi-Crisp Baked Snack System, you can produce a variety of wheat, potato, rice and corn masa flour crisps on one flexible system. After the continuous mixing process, the dough is delivered to the Thomas L. Green 2-Roll Sheeter. Product pieces are cut by the Rotary Cutter and then baked and dried in the SPECTRUM OVEN® system.
Stackable Fried Chips
When your product line includes fabricated stackable chips, consider Reading Bakery Systems’ modular Stackable Chip System. The Exact FX Continuous Mixing System was specifically designed for this chip process. The single-reduction 2-Roll Sheeter produces a continuous dough sheet that is discharged directly onto the Rotary Cutter infeed conveyor. The cut product is then ready for the fryer (which is not supplied by RBS).
Extruded Pretzel and Bread Snack Systems
Utilize the Reading Pretzel Low Pressure (LP) Extruder to create pretzel shapes, sticks and other extruded snack products on one production line. Unique product shapes can be designed into custom made extrusion dies, and product changeover is as simple as exchanging one compression head and die for another one with a different shape. Incorporate the Guillotine Cutter for precision cutting and product separation of sticks and nuggets before baking.
