Reading Pretzel SPECTRUM OVEN®

Our SPECTRUM OVEN® is sophisticated and intuitive at the same time. It’s a flexible system that we can produce in any configuration you need, with a range of modules that transfer heat perfectly. Also, you can increase the variety of your product offerings by performing just a few simple adjustments.

 

One of the most popular features of the SPECTRUM OVEN® is its multiple zones. These zones make it easy to combine different types of heat – conduction, radiation, and convection – in the most precise manner possible. Not only can you easily repeat the kind of heat and humidity control you want, but you can also control the temperature and the time.

 

If you don’t have a lot of room in your facility, you can combine the dryer or kiln module with our SPECTRUM OVEN® oven module. This will provide you with a two-pass chamber for baking in a limited area. You can take out as much moisture as you want, and you can also keep an eye on the heat transfer modules independent from each other.

 

Where the SPECTRUM OVEN® shines even more, however, is for high pretzel volume. You can produce from as little as 400 to as much as 1,000 kg per hour of product. If you don’t need that much production, consider the RBS Vector Series Pretzel System, which is designed to produce anywhere from 125 to 500 kg/hr.

A Product for Every Part of the Process

Of course, making the best pretzels involves more than just baking. You also need equipment to extrude the product, as well as cut, cook, and dispense it. We have products that handle every part of the process. Here's a quick look at a few of them.

  • Omega Dispensers – The Omega Dispenser uses rotating rolls that apply seeds (sesame and poppy), pretzel salt, and other toppings uniformly. The dispensing screens are perfect for other ingredients, such as cinnamon and spices made of fine grains. You can use the dispenser's trays for nuts, spice/seed mixes, caraway seeds, and more.
  • Reading Pretzel Guillotine Cutter – You can use this product to create uniform pretzels as thin as an inch by pressing a button. If you have high-level output needs, the Guillotine Center can generate as many as 175 cuts each minute. If you don't, the system can produce up to 50 cuts a minute.
  • Reading Pretzel Automatic Hot Pretzel Cooker – This piece of equipment ensures greater control over the texture of your products. Your products will be consistent as they move to the SPECTRUM OVEN®.
