Technical Writer

Reading Bakery Systems is looking for a Technical Writer that will develop procedures, training material, instructional documents, guidelines, maintenance, work instructions and test procedures for Reading Bakery Systems products. All documents are related to the production, operation, installation, assembly and maintenance of the Company's products. The Technical Writer produces high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and contributes to the organization's overall success of the Company's products. The Technical Writer will work in coordination with key team members from the Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, Technical Support, and Production departments to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and technical documentation requirements to create and revise documents related to product specifications.

  • It is preferred that the candidate hold a 4-year technical degree or a two year associates degree in engineering from a trade school or equivalent training and/or experience as an engineer.

Field Service Technicians - Mechanics

Home-Based Position in Robesonia, PA and the Mid-West

We are looking for highly-skilled individuals based in our Robesonia, PA facility to install bakery equipment and provide electrical/mechanical equipment repair services to our customers, worldwide. Our field service technicians travel extensively — domestically and internationally. They should be proficient in mechanical and industrial electrical maintenance, Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting and experience with AC drives. Experience in cookie, cracker, pretzel and other baked snack equipment is a plus.

Director of Human Resources

Robesonia, PA

We are seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources. The Human Resources Director is the liaison between the President, senior management and the human resources of the company. This position is responsible for assisting the organization in developing a workforce capable of meeting the organization’s goals. It also provides a full range of human resources services to the company that encompasses all the decisions, practices and activities that relate to the effectiveness of the people, including assisting the organization in meeting strategic goals, responding to change, creating an effective match between employees and positions, and fostering employee commitment and performance. The Human Resources Director is also responsible for workforce planning and employment, human resource development, compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations and occupational health, safety and security of the employees of the company.

This position requires a high degree of initiative, independent judgment, organization, discretion and a broad knowledge of company organization and policy. As a close strategic partner to the President, this position proactively helps the President lead, develop and advance the corporation’s performance.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on employee relations, labor law compliance, and HRIS management.
  • Strong interviewing skills with a track record of successful talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods for HR metrics analysis.
  • Experience in negotiating contracts related to employee benefits or services is preferred.
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and FMLA regulations is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
